Day 1: Imlil to Tizi Oudid – Overnight in Azaden Valley

The trek begins in Imlil (1,740 m) with an early morning departure. You follow scenic trails through walnut groves, orchards, and small Berber villages, gradually ascending toward Tizi Oudid Pass (2,000 m). From the pass, enjoy panoramic views over Imlil and the surrounding valleys before descending into the peaceful Azaden Valley. You arrive at a local Berber guesthouse in Ait Aissa for an overnight stay, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, and rest for the next day’s adventure.

⛰️ Day 2: Azaden Valley to Tazaghart Refuge (3,050 m)

After breakfast, the trek continues ascending from Azaden Valley toward Tazaghart Refuge (3,050 m). The trail passes rocky slopes, juniper forests, and small Berber villages, offering stunning views of the High Atlas ridges. The hike takes about 6–7 hours depending on pace. Upon arrival at Tazaghart Refuge, you enjoy dinner and an overnight stay, resting and preparing for the next day’s climbs.

????️ Day 3: Summit Aglzime & Trek to Toubkal Refuge (3,200 m)

After an early breakfast at Tazaghart Refuge, you begin the ascent to the summit of Aglzime, a prominent peak in the area, offering panoramic views over the Toubkal massif and Azaden Valley. The climb to Aglzime takes around 2–3 hours, depending on pace. After enjoying the summit and taking photos, you descend and continue trekking toward Toubkal Refuge (3,200 m). This section of the hike passes rocky terrain, streams, and small mountain trails. You arrive at Toubkal Refuge in the afternoon for dinner and overnight stay, preparing for the final summit attempt of Jebel Toubkal.

????️ Day 4: Summit Jebel Toubkal (4,167 m) & Return to Imlil

An early wake-up around 4:00–5:00 AM begins the final day. You ascend steep rocky trails to reach the summit of Jebel Toubkal (4,167 m), the highest peak in North Africa. From the summit, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains and, on clear days, the Sahara Desert. After 15–30 minutes for photos and rest, you descend carefully back to Toubkal Refuge, then continue through Mizane Valley and Sidi Chamharouch, returning to Imlil in the late afternoon. The 4-day trek combines valley exploration, mountain passes, and summit experiences, offering a complete High Atlas adventure with overnight stays in both Berber guesthouses and mountain refuges.
